Aggreko changed over to Corporate Travel Management in February 2004. We were seeking a more efficient way of booking travel requirements rather than spending hours on the telephone organising flights, and then following up separately the accommodation and car hire needs.

We were allocated our own designated representative to take care of all our needs; this was a great time saver that allowed us to better spend our time looking after our customers. Corporate Travel Management’s friendly staff have followed up all queries not matter how big or small. Recently an employee had misplaced his passport whilst overseas, our representative (Michelle Jones) came into the office on a Sunday to access his profile to assist in organising a replacement passport. A commendable effort, I don’t think we would have received this additional service from our previous travel agent.

Our travel policy was incorporated into all our employees’ profiles, which allows as much control over expenditure as we wish to detail. There are frequent reviews on how we can obtain further savings by the types of flights we are booking to handling corporate rates with hotels.

Overall Aggreko’s relationship with Corporate Travel Management has been a successful one and we look forward to continuing in the future.

Placer Dome Asia Pacific (PDAP) appointed Corporate Travel Management as our company's travel service provider in July 2003.

We have found the benefits of utilising Corporate Travel Management's proactive staff in negotiating the best deals that are available from the travel industry, exemplary. This was evident in their assistance in negotiating our 'Gross Financial Offer' with Qantas and our preferred car hire agreement with AVIS.

In the first year of appointment we forecast that Corporate Travel Management will save our company approximately $600K from a $4M spend in travel related activities in direct comparison to our previous provider.

We are now capturing all our travel spend data through Corporate Travel Management's tailor made management information reports and we are now able to proactively manage our travel spend and ensure compliance to our Company Travel policy. On Corporate Travel Management's advice we are also changing the way we make payment for travel resulting in direct and indirect cost savings.

Corporate Travel Management communicates with us on a regular basis to ensure that our company is always well briefed on developments within the travel industry sowe can maximise our travel dollar. The PDAP Corporate Travel Management relationship has proven to be a truly proactive alliance and has resulted in minimal change management issue's and significant savings.
