Corporate On-Line Booking Systems
Our Web-Res (On-Line Self Booking Tool) is the perfect alternative for companies thinking of an on-line self booking strategy.
Web-Res allows your staff to take advantage of features such as
- Real-time or instantaneous management information reporting on-line;
- a “memory” of frequently booked itineraries, to reduce data input in the future;
- Corporate Travel Management retains the responsibility and cost of any Web-Res system upgrades; and
- Bookings made via the Corporate Travel Management Travel Consultant’s Sabre Reservations System or the Corporate Travel Management SBT have access to the Sabre “Virtually There®” product which allows Corporate Travel Management’s customers to view their itineraries, view e-ticket receipts and weather/destination information conveniently via the Internet at anytime, anywhere in the world.
- One of the major “selling points” of Corporate Travel Management’s Web-Res on-line self booking tool is that the system draws information from Global Distribution Systems (travel agents booking systems) and airline on-line inventory, via an application programming interface protocol. What does this mean? Web-Res actually bypasses airline web sites and the antiquated process of “screen-scraping” for searches. There are two main benefits from this type of new technology. First, if the airline web sites are “down” for any reason, Web-Res remains functional drawing information from the airlines’ direct inventory. The system also provides the best opportunity to source “best fare/rates of the day”, as last minute airline inventory changes can be detected before they are loaded into retail airline web sites, e.g. the release of additional discounted airline seating through late booking cancellations."
Flexibility
- Changes to travel bookings, before ticketing;
- Qantas, Virgin and Jetstar bookings, even in the same journey/itinerary if required;
- One-way flexible and one-way inflexible airfare tickets in a single travel itinerary to maximise cost savings;
- Airfare bookings with Qantas do not have to be ticketed for 24 hours, permitting greater flexibility in domestic ticketing requirements;
The information you need to get the best deal
- all airfare types including negotiated “private airfares”, including “Route Deals” and airfares subject to Qantas’ Gross Financial Offer on a single screen display;
- access direct rebate or market share “deals” with airlines, e.g. 2% rebate from Virgin Blue for $100K turn-over;
- All airfare types, including all internet levels and limited duration special airfares.
- reports on travel itineraries that are on-chargeable or billable and those relating to company expenditure;
- Hotel and car hire rates can be shopped;
- a description of hotel room types as well as room rates, on a single screen.
